Are you looking for a restaurant a little off the beaten path?  If so, try the Depot in Palmer Lake.   It’s a small place right located on the west side of Highway 105 as you drive through Palmer Lake.

The quaint historic restaurant has a selection of tables and booths and there’s a small outside deck with a view of Palmer Lake and the railroad track.  They have a model locomotive that circles an overhead track which is suspended from the ceiling, and train related memorabilia that cover just about every inch of the walls.‎     Here’s a little history trivia for you ………… the Palmer Lake Depot and Judd’s Eating House were built on the west side of the lake in 1882.
