The Skyway and Skyway Park housing market continues to be a BUYER’s/NEUTRAL Market, as there is currently a 6 month of supply of homes on the market. A 6 month supply of houses on the market is considered a “NEUTRAL MARKET”. Sales units were up 13% from 2009 to 2008, and pricing was down 27% from 2009 to 2008. Sales units and price per square foot are continuing to see a decrease in 2010.
Single Family Homes in Skyway were primarily built in the 1960’s. The majority of the houses are ranches with 2-3 baths, with 1-2 car garages. The average home has appx. 1500 to 2000 square footage.
The area location between Eighth street and Cresta.
The school District is District 12 and the majority of students go to Skyway Grade School, Cheyenne Mountain Junior High and Cheyenne Mountain High School.
