Tips for selling your home in Colorado Springs, outdoors does matter

We suggest following these important guidelines when trying to sell your home in Colorado Springs.
- The lawn should be fertilized and watered until its green (we know this is tough in drought conditions but it will make difference)
- The lawn should be trimmed and edged
- Flower beds should be cultivated and free of weeds
- Trees and bushes should be trimmed and leaves raked
- Yard should be free of trash and clutter (ie toys, hoses, tools etc.)
- In winter, snow should be shoveled off all walks (not only does it “show” better, but its safer)
- Wash down exterior walls if necessary
- Clean or paint front door and garage as necessary
- Screens should be intact in all windows and doors
- Check gutters (if its sagging fix it, if they’re full of debris, clean them out)
- Patio and decks should be clean and re stained if necessary
- Fence should be in good shape
- Put a new welcome mat at door
